Gig number 196 : Rush
Fifth time I have seen them and stunning is the only thing to say.They played 1 hr 10 mins a 20 min break and then 1 hr 45 min second set.
We were 14 rows back dead centre so superb sound and lights.
They had 5 parts of the lighting rig that came down like Close Encounters.Plenty of explosions and lasers too.Played 9 off the new cd which went down very well.Only played 8 songs from the last tour so a real good cross section from their 35 year career.
The one thing that hits home about technology was the screen behind them.In the old days very grainy now in HD so can see so clearly from wherever you sit.Front or back.Fab excerpt from South Park before Tom Sawyer.
