Gigs

Hard to put into any order as they have been so varied.. but five that stick in my mind for different reasons are :

Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa at Hampton Court. Perfect gig. Perfect venue.

Joe Bonamassa at Shepherds Bush Empire - Part of his 4 gigs in 4 days in London and the first time that I had seen him on his own.

Green Day at Brixton Academy - Less Panto, more Punk..loved it. Nearly didn't go as someone very close to me died the day before..but I was convinced to go and it was just what me & the kids needed.

An Evening with Danny & Ben at Milton Keynes Stables - The Thunder Boys just having a laugh, some songs and a conversation with a few hundred of us in an intimate venue.

FM / It Bites / Vega at Shepherds Bush - Hadn't seen FM for years.. and they blew me away - again!

A few other mentions of bands that surprised me with how good they were : Shinedown at the Alterbridge gig were awesome, was also really impressed by Redline supporting Saxon, the Dead Daisies supporting Black Star Riders (who were bloody good too) and Thunder blew Journey and Whitesnake right out of Wembley Arena.

Gigs I never made it to despite having tickets : Temperance Movement & Black Sabbath !
