“Empty” is the second single taken from Poole’s forthcoming album Post-Midnight Behaviour – his first studio album of brand-new material in eight years, following 2018’s critically acclaimed Anytime You Need Me. Rooted in blues rock, the new album also sees Poole explore new musical territory.

Empty is anything but that with Ben's breathless vocal showing passion with melodic control and real emotion in every note sung and played.
I love how it starts on picked notes and Ben's vocal fits perfectly with a build up into the chorus.
Beautifully played throughout the change to the guitar solo after the end of the second chorus is stunning . Again I love the way the band stop and Ben holds a note with slight distortion before he breaks into a guitar solo that lasts over a minute . Breathtaking virtuosity with no note going unnoticed and full of emotion and passion and will sure to be a stand out moment of the upcoming tour where it will be a highlight.
