"Stand Up" is a punchy, uplifting anthem about overcoming adversity and standing up for what you believe in, featuring the gritty harmonica tones of the incredibly talented Will Wilde.
Lindsey shares, "Stand Up encompasses the 'fight' element of our album. It's all about having confidence in yourself, overcoming adversity in your life, and standing up for what you believe in."
Chloe adds, "Stand Up features the incredible Will Wilde on harmonica. We've known Will for a while now through gigs together. He is insanely talented! During pre-production for the album, we performed with Will at the Tuesday Night Music Club and asked him to be part of our album."
Will Wilde comments, "Of course, I said yes! A few weeks later, I drove up to the studio to record my parts. It was a great time. The song has a great riff with space for me to fill. Since recording, we've also worked together on a couple of songs for my own album, and we recently shot the video for 'Stand Up' too. Maybe you'll see me pop up at a Brave Rival show down the road..."
The album launch show at Dingwalls will also feature Will Wilde as a special guest.
Tour dates include their homecoming show in Portsmouth on December 20th and two co-headline shows with These Wicked Rivers in November in Lincoln and Gloucester.
Fronted by the dynamic duo of vocalists Chloe Josephine and Lindsey Bonnick, Brave Rival stands out with a distinctive edge. The band is rounded out by the instrumental prowess of Donna Peters (Drums, Percussion, and Acoustic Guitar), Ed 'the Shred' Clarke (Guitars), and Billy 'Danger' Dedman (Bass Guitar).
